Expel by Addison Moore

A death.
A war.
Regret.
Heartbreak.
An old enemy.
A new enemy.
A well-placed boyfriend.
An ending you won’t believe.

Seventeen year-old Skyla Messenger discovers love is stronger than death and deception. In an effort to rectify those horrible truths Skyla’s life changes forever.

Love and heartbreak become obstacles that overshadow the faction war and in the end may cost her everything. From Goodreads.

Oh wow that ending was insane. There is so much betrayal for poor Skyla. Of course most of it can be laid at the hands of Chloe and Demetri. Of course they don’t care about what they do that affects her life.

When she gets back from the Transfer after that horrible night she finds she was gone for a few weeks and that Marshall will no longer be there for her. Gage is in the hospital and Logan is in the Transfer dead. She made a bargain with Ezrina for his life.

When Logan gets back he is completely changed. Of course he is because he died. Eventually Skyla finds out the reason why he has changed so drastically and has to work to get him back to normal. She goes to the hospital and eventually Gage is released and all seems okay in the world.

Of course it doesn’t last long. Her mom ends up remarrying Tad; meanwhile it seems that she is having an affair with Demetri. This is the worst possible thing for her, worst than Tad himself. Brielle and Drake are arguing all over the place because he cheats on her all the time with Emily. Emily and Chloe fight over Ethan. It is just a never ending drama for Gage, Skyla and Logan.

Once everything is back to normal on Prom night Skyla learns the worst news to date. I can honestly say that I was so disappointed in that person it was unbelievable. I felt like my heart broke right along hers. Only question I had was where in the world was Marshall?

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars, I can’t wait for the 7th book to come out.
