Immortal Beloved by Katie M. John (Knight Trilogy #2)

As Mina Singer tries to piece together her broken heart, Blake’s adventure in Egypt places his in serious peril.

As ancient and terrifying Egyptian rituals are ressurected by the sorceress Morgan Le Fay, Blake embarks on the most horrifying quest yet – one which no other mortal has ever survived.

This time, the damsel must rescue her knight in a terrifying race against death. From Goodreads.

I loved how Mina was no longer the girl that sat around and moped about losing Blake for an unknown amount of time. Of course she did do that at first but what normal girl wouldn’t do that? I loved how her uncle and her friend Delta helped make sure that she did the littlest things, like go to school and eat.

After Mina gets sent to Egypt to get her Blake back, she brings Sam and Delta with her because she needs the help. She realizes how much stronger she is as a person. I get that she loves Blake, I mean he is a knight who wouldn’t love that? But I just wanted her to at least pretend to the world that she could survive what was sent her way.

She eventually finds out where Blake was hidden by Morgan and goes to rescue him. She ends up having to do it herself and while in there, she encounters a demon. Of course that demon changes her into something different. Which ends up being good since Blake was changed as well by Morgan. Of course I bet you already know how he was changed? Yea he became immortal, scary I know. Morgan did it because she is selfish but what do you expect from the bad guy?

I honestly thought that this book was much better than the first and I loved the ending, of course it wasn’t exactly happy but it was so close you could see it.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars.
