With three of the goddess Durga’s quests behind them, only one prophecy now stands in the way of Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan breaking the tiger’s curse. But the trio’s greatest challenge awaits them: A life-endangering pursuit in search of Durga’s final gift, the Rope of Fire, on the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal. It’s a race against time–and the evil sorcerer Lokesh–in this eagerly anticipated fourth volume in the bestselling Tiger’s Curse series, which pits good against evil, tests the bonds of love and loyalty, and finally reveals the tigers’ true destinies once and for all. Once again Colleen has written a FANTASTIC book. There wasn’t a moment that went by that I didn’t love in the book. It started off at the exact moment Tiger’s Voyage left off. Which was amazing in itself. From there, Ren and Kishan had to rescue Kelsey back since Lokesh kidnapped her.
Okay I am tryin got make this as unspoilery as possible. So there were moments that I loved and then moments that I hated. I loved that Kishan loved Kelsey so much that he was willing to make multiple sacrifices to make her sure she was happy. I also loved (at times) the relationship between Kelsey and Ren. He really wanted to show her how much he wanted her and loved her. I am still Team Kishan but I realized what was going to happen.
There was so much action in this book, from the beginning all the way to the very last page. Of course they ended up getting the last thing they needed to break the curse for Ren and Kishan. If you remember the whole prophecy Durga gave Ren and Kelsey in the first book, then you will have noticed that there were some stipulations with the end of the curse.
Yeah you find out almost everything at the end of the book and of course I was happy and mad at the same time. Of course the book ended up the way it should have, I guess, but!!!! I still miss certain characters that had to make sacrifices to make sure the curse was ended. I honestly can’t wait for Tiger’s Dream to come out sometime next year. I will be happy and sad that day only because it is the next book but it is the last book in the series.
I gave this book 6 out of 5 stars. I can’t help but love this series.
